Importing customers and vehicles from a CSV file
Bring your existing customer and vehicle list into AutoSync with the CSV importer.
The data importer (Professional and Enterprise) accepts CSV exports from most shop systems and spreadsheets.
Prepare the file
Export customers and vehicles from your current system. One row per vehicle works well: customer name, phone, email, then year, make, model and VIN.
Map columns
Open Settings → Import, upload the file and match each column to an AutoSync field. The importer shows a preview and flags rows with problems before anything is saved.
Review and import
Fix or skip flagged rows, then run the import. Duplicate customers are matched by email or phone where possible.
