Overview
This policy explains how AutoSync Shop Manager, LLC handles information about visitors to our website, the businesses that subscribe to AutoSync ("shops") and the shop staff who use it. Shops control the information they store about their own customers; for that data AutoSync acts as a service provider processing it on the shop's behalf.
Information we collect
- Account information: names, business details, email addresses, phone numbers and login credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).
- Shop data: customers, vehicles, repair orders, inspections, invoices, messages and files that shops enter into the Service.
- Website forms: information you submit through contact and demo request forms.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and activity logs used for security, auditing and troubleshooting.
- Billing data: subscription and payment details processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and support the Service
- To process subscriptions and payments
- To respond to inquiries and demo requests
- To send service-related notices such as security alerts and billing updates
- To improve the product using aggregated usage information
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information or shop data, and we do not use shops' customer lists for our own marketing.
Sharing
We share information with sub-processors that help us run the Service — for example hosting, email and SMS delivery and payment processing (Stripe) — under contracts that restrict their use of the data. We may disclose information when required by law.
Retention
We retain account and shop data while the account is active and for a limited period afterward to allow export and meet legal obligations. Website form submissions are retained as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship.

Your choices
You can update account details from your account settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email, and contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you.
